Are you feeling a sense of discontentment?

Many people spend far too much time living without a sense of direction, without knowing where they want their lives to go.

It has taken me some time to get myself, and SkillfulMIND to where we are today, but through multiple trial and errors, I have discovered that there are 3 things which are priceless to having a successful business and a successful life.

The first of these three crucial success factors is passion.

What are you passionate about doing in your life?

If you already have this passion, then you probably know that this often brings many other things into force.  For example, if you are enthusiastic about whatever it is you are teaching or selling, your passion will be infectious to other people.  This passion will lead to many people following along with your journey, becoming more enthusiastic the more they hear about it.

The second success factor is strength.

Do you know what your own personal strengths and weaknesses are?

In order to succeed, we need to know what our strengths and weaknesses are, and if you don’t already know what yours are, the best way to find out is to ask people!

Ask someone who won’t just say what you want to hear, ask a paying client or an old colleague.  Ask them,

“If i had a superpower to help other people, what would it be?”

Once you learn what your strengths and weaknesses are, continue to work on them – invest in developing them further, take full advantage of them.

The third success factor is understanding needs.

What do people need?

If your passion is around helping people, you will have no end of demand, and if thats the case – then great! Get started!   In the business world, this word factor would be called ‘market demand’ – and there really is no difference between the two.

If you are stuck or struggling with any of these points, take some time to figure out how you can figure out these three factors and how they can relate to you.

Sometimes people know what they are passionate about but feel trapped by their circumstances, finances, or responsibility to others.  Other times, people are quite simply confused about what their passion is, as they haven’t yet discovered it.  If this is the case for you, think about investing in  coach or a mentor to help you learn more about yourself.

And one of the most important things to remember, is to continuously be building up a strong community and support-system of like-minded people around you.  Connect and strengthen both yourself and your support system.
