This meditation is sourced from the American Indian culture and is best done outside in nature.

It is called Active Dreaming and it’s like dreaming when you are awake and is a way of solving problems or unresolved issues that you would like to change or get an insight into.

We use our natural surrounds to become aware of messages or symbols.  These can be visual or auditory – and they are what your are drawn to while walking.

Our Western culture would say that the unconscious mind has grabbed a symbol of importance, where the Native American Indians would say that the Universe has just offerred you a gift that will help you in your quest.
